Zara Popovici is a Romanian cinematographer based in Paris. She studied filmmaking in Bucharest, New York and Paris, where she earned her masters degree in Documentary Film Directing. She has shot several short fiction films including “Trois rêves de ma jeunesse” (Berlinale, 2018) and documentary films including “Swarm Season” (CPH:DOX 2019) and “Un Temps Pour Danser” (Visions Du Réel, 2016).
Sean Dwyer is a New York born filmmaker and sound engineer. He is currently based in Paris where he works in a variety of roles on documentaries, fiction films, and fashion pieces.
Zara and Sean often work together as cinematographer and sound recordist on creative projects. They also produce video and photo projects together under the name of Oblic Films.
